ततः स तां कपिरभिपत्य पूजितां चरन् पुरीं दशमुखबाहुपालिताम् | अदृश्य तां जनकसुतां सुपूजितां सुदुःखितः पतिगुणवेगवर्जिताम् || ५-७-१६

sanskrit

Then Hanuman moved about that cherished city ruled by the strength of arms of the tenheaded king. Unable to find venerable Sita, who was deprived of the benefit of her husband's virtuous proximity, he became deeply sad. [5-7-16]

english translation

tataH sa tAM kapirabhipatya pUjitAM caran purIM dazamukhabAhupAlitAm | adRzya tAM janakasutAM supUjitAM suduHkhitaH patiguNavegavarjitAm || 5-7-16
