रामस्य गदितं श्रुत्वा हरयो रामसन्निधौ । चोदयन्ति हनूमन्तं सीतावृत्तान्तकोविदम् ॥ ५-६५-६
On hearing the words from Rama, the vanaras requested Hanuman who was aware of Sita's position to tell in the presence of Rama all about her. [5-65-6]
english translation
श्रुत्वा तु वचनं तेषां हनुमान्मारुतात्मजः । प्रणम्य शिरसा देव्यै सीतायै तां दिशं प्रति ॥ ५-६५-७
The son of the Wind god, Hanuman who was wise in speech heard the words of Rama, offered salutations to Sita in the direction in which she was located . - [5-65-7]

उवाच वाक्यं वाक्यज्ञस्सीताया दर्शनं यथा । समुद्रं लङ्घयित्वाहं शतयोजनमायतम् ॥ ५-६५-८
- and narrated the story about Sita's discovery. "Having crossed the sea consisting of a hundred yojanas . - [5-65-8]

अगच्छं जानकीं सीतां मार्गमाणो दिदृक्षया । तत्र लङ्केति नगरी रावणस्य दुरात्मनः ॥ ५-६५-९
- in quest of Sita, Janaka's daughter, I found her. The city of Lanka , ruled by the evilminded Ravana . - [5-65-9]

दक्षिणस्य समुद्रस्य तीरे वसति दक्षिणे । तत्र दृष्टा मया सीता रावणान्तः पुरे सती ॥ ५-६५-१०
- is situated on the southern shore of the southern ocean. There in the inner palace of Ravana, I saw your virtuous wife Sita - [5-65-10]
