प्रहृष्टाः समपद्यन्त हनूमन्तं दिदृक्षवः । ते प्रीताः पादपाग्रेषु गृह्य शाखाः सुविष्ठिताः ॥ ५-५७-२६

- jumped with joy longing to see Hanuman. Waiting for Hanuman, they (vanaras) jumped from the tree tops holding the branches. [5-57-26]

english translation

वासांसीव प्रशाखाश्च समाविध्यन्त वानराः । गिरिगह्वरसंलीनो यथा गर्जति मारुतः ॥ ५-५७-२७

The vanaras shook the branches just like clothes to welcome friends. As the wind captured in a mountain cave roars - [5-57-27]

english translation

एवं जगर्ज बलवान् हनुमान्मारुतात्मजः। तमभ्रघनसङ्काशमापतन्तं महाकपिम् ॥ ५-५७-२८

- Hanuman, the powerful son of the Wind-god roared like that. (On seeing) the great vanara Hanuman, who was resembling a heavy cloud approaching - [5-57-28]

english translation

दृष्ट्वा ते वानरास्सर्वे तस्थुः प्राञ्जलयस्तदा । ततस्तु वेगवांस्तस्य गिरेर्गिरिनिभः कपिः ॥ ५-५७-२९

- the vanaras stood with folded hands. Thereafter the vanara, who resembled a mountain with great speed . - [5-57-29]

english translation

निपपात महेन्द्रस्य शिखरे पादपाकुले । हर्षेणापूर्यमाणोऽसौ रम्ये पर्वतनिर्झरे ॥ ५-५७-३०

- descended on the summit of mount Mahendra full of trees. On the charming bank of a mountain stream, overwhelmed with immeasurable joy - [5-57-30]
