तमारुरोह हनुमान् पर्वतं पवनात्मजः । रामदर्शनशीघ्रेण प्रहर्षेणाभिचोदितः ॥ ५-५६-२१
Anxious to see Rama soon, the son of the Windgod ascended the mountain happily. [5-56-21]

tamAruroha hanumAn parvataM pavanAtmajaH । rAmadarzanazIghreNa praharSeNAbhicoditaH ॥ 5-56-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतेन पादतलाक्रान्ता रम्येषु गिरिसानुषु । सघोषास्समशीर्यन्त शिलाश्चूर्णीकृतास्ततः ॥ ५-५६-२२
Crushed under Hanuman's feet the rocks making a loud noise on the beautiful mountain ranges rolled down, reduced to powder. [5-56-22]

tena pAdatalAkrAntA ramyeSu girisAnuSu । saghoSAssamazIryanta zilAzcUrNIkRtAstataH ॥ 5-56-22
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस तमारुह्य शैलेन्द्रं व्यवर्धत महाकपिः । दक्षिणादुत्तरं पारं प्रार्थयन् लवणाम्भसः ॥ ५-५६-२३
On ascending the king of mountains, desiring to reach the northern shore of the saltwater ocean from the Southern shore, he enlarged his body (in preparation to leap). [5-56-23]

sa tamAruhya zailendraM vyavardhata mahAkapiH । dakSiNAduttaraM pAraM prArthayan lavaNAmbhasaH ॥ 5-56-23
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअधिरुह्य ततो वीरः पर्वतं पवनात्मजः । ददर्श सागरं भीमं मीनोरगनिषेवितम् ॥ ५-५६-२४
Then the heroic son of the Windgod, who had ascended the mountain saw the dreadful ocean inhabited by fishes and snakes. [5-56-24]

adhiruhya tato vIraH parvataM pavanAtmajaH । dadarza sAgaraM bhImaM mInoraganiSevitam ॥ 5-56-24

Hanuman, the tiger among monkeys leaped into the sky like the Windgod from the south to the north shore. [5-56-25]
