अथेन्द्रजित्तु द्रुमचीरबद्धं विचार्य वीरः कपिसत्तमं तम् | विमुक्तमस्त्रेण जगाम चिन्तां नान्येन बद्धो ह्यनुवर्ततेऽस्त्रम् || ५-४८-४९

sanskrit

Then the heroic Indrajit coming to know that the foremost of the monkeys bound by bark ropes was released from the bondage of Brahmastra, thought, 'indeed the divine weapon does not tolerate other bonds, so the vanara is released'. [5-48-49]

english translation

athendrajittu drumacIrabaddhaM vicArya vIraH kapisattamaM tam | vimuktamastreNa jagAma cintAM nAnyena baddho hyanuvartate'stram || 5-48-49
