समुत्पतन्तं समभिद्रवद्बली स राक्षसानां प्रवरः प्रतापवान् । रथी रथिश्रेष्ठतमः किरन्शरैः पयोधरश्शैलमिवाश्मवृष्टिभिः ॥ ५-४७-२२

That strong and valiant Aksha, the foremost among the demons and the best among warriors fighting on a chariot, went chasing Hanuman who was flying upwards, diffusing arrows like a cloud showering hail-stones on a mountain. ॥ 5-47-22॥

english translation

samutpatantaM samabhidravadbalI sa rAkSasAnAM pravaraH pratApavAn । rathI rathizreSThatamaH kiranzaraiH payodharazzailamivAzmavRSTibhiH ॥ 5-47-22
