तावुभौ राक्षसौ वीरौ जघान पवनात्मजः । ततस्तांस्त्रीन्हतान्ज्ञात्वा वानरेण तरस्विना ॥ ५-४६-३१
- the son of the Wind-god (Hanuman) lifted it and smashed the two giant generals with it. Finding all the three generals killed by vanara Hanuman - ॥ 5-46-31॥

tAvubhau rAkSasau vIrau jaghAna pavanAtmajaH । tatastAMstrInhatAnjJAtvA vAnareNa tarasvinA ॥ 5-46-31

- swift Praghasa advanced towards the Vanara and attacked him. Valiant Bhasakarna also lifted a trident and attacked him. Both were famous for swift and violent action in war. ॥ 5-46-32॥

Praghasa fought back the glorious tiger among vanaras with a sharp crowbar on one side. ॥ 5-46-33॥

ekataH kapizArdUlaM yazasvinamavasthitam । paTTisena zitAgreNa praghasaH pratyayodhayat ॥ 5-46-33

Bhaskarana attacked the foremost of the monkeys (Hanuman) with a spear from the other. Attacked by both the generals, the fur on his body was smeared with blood from his wounded limbs - ॥ 5-46-34॥
