क्रौञ्चबर्हिणसङ्घुष्टैः राजहंस निषेवितैः । तूर्याभरणनिर्घोषैः सर्वतः प्रतिनादिताम् ॥ ५-३-११
It echoed with sounds of krauncha birds, peacocks and royal swans. Filled with sounds of musical instruments all over - ॥ 5-3-11॥

krauJcabarhiNasaGghuSTaiH rAjahaMsa niSevitaiH । tUryAbharaNanirghoSaiH sarvataH pratinAditAm ॥ 5-3-11
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवस्वौकसाराप्रतिमां तां वीक्ष्य नगरीं ततः । खमिवोत्पतितुं कामां जहर्ष हनुमान् कपिः ॥ ५-३-१२
- it resembled the city of Vaswokasara as though flying towards the sky. Then vanara Hanuman rejoiced gazing that city. ॥ 5-3-12॥

vasvaukasArApratimAM tAM vIkSya nagarIM tataH । khamivotpatituM kAmAM jaharSa hanumAn kapiH ॥ 5-3-12
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतां समीक्ष्य पुरीं रम्यां राक्षसाधिपतेः शुभाम् । अनुत्तमामृद्धियुतां चिन्तयामास वीर्यवान् ॥ ५-३-१३
Gazing at the enchanting, auspicious, prosperous city of the king of demons mighty Hanuman began to reflect ॥ 5-3-13॥

tAM samIkSya purIM ramyAM rAkSasAdhipateH zubhAm । anuttamAmRddhiyutAM cintayAmAsa vIryavAn ॥ 5-3-13
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनेयमन्येन नगरी शक्या धर्षयितुं बलात् । रक्षिता रावणबलैरुद्यतायुधधारिभिः ॥ ५-३-१४
- 'It is not possible to attack this city by to outsiders as it is protected by the forces of Ravana with their weapons ready (to attack). ॥ 5-3-14॥

neyamanyena nagarI zakyA dharSayituM balAt । rakSitA rAvaNabalairudyatAyudhadhAribhiH ॥ 5-3-14
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकुमुदाङ्गदयोर्वापि सुषेणस्य महाकपेः । प्रसिद्धेयं भवेद्भूमिर्मैन्दद्विविदयोरपि ॥ ५-३-१५
'This land can be reached by Kumuda and Angada or the great vanara Sushena and even by Mainda and Dvivida. ॥ 5-3-15॥
