वसून्रुद्रांस्तथाऽदित्यानश्विनौ मरुतोऽपि च । नमस्कृत्वा गमिष्यामि रक्षसां शोकवर्धनः ॥ ५-१३-५६
'I shall offer salutations to Vasus, Rudras Adityas and Aswinis and proceed to increase (cause) the sorrow of the demons. (There are eight Vasus, eleven Rudras, twelve Adityas, two Ashwins and forty nine Wind-gods). [5-13-56]
english translation
जित्वा तु राक्षसान् सर्वानिक्ष्वाकुकुलनन्दिनीम् । सम्प्रदास्यामि रामाय यथा सिद्धिं तपस्विने ॥ ५-१३-५७
'I will conquer all the ogres and pass them to Sita, the delight of the Ikshvaku family as an offering and give Rama to her as the fruit of her austerities.' [5-13-57]
english translation
सः मुहूर्तमिव ध्यात्वा चिन्तावग्रथितेन्द्रियः । उदतिष्ठन्महातेजा हनुमान् मारुतात्मजः ॥ ५-१३-५८
The brilliant son of the Wind-god, Hanuman, whose senses were overwhelmed with worries, regained his senses in a short while and got up. [5-13-58]

नमोऽस्तु रामाय सलक्ष्मणाय देव्यै च तस्यै जनकात्मजायै । नमोऽस्तु रुद्रेंद्रयमानिलेभ्यो नमोऽस्तु चन्द्रार्कमरुद्गणेभ्यः ॥ ५-१३-५९
'My salutations to Lakshmana, Rama and divine daughter of Janaka. Salutations to Rudra, Indra, Yama and Vayu. Salutations to Sun, Moon and Maruts.' [5-13-59]

स तेभ्यस्तु नमस्कृत्य सुग्रीवाय च मारुतिः । दिशस्सर्वास्समालोक्य ह्यशोकवनिकां प्रति ॥ ५-१३-६०
Having offered salutations to all gods as well as to Sugriva, he looked at all quarters and left for the Ashoka grove. [5-13-60]
