शान्तयश्चापि वर्धन्तां यथाकल्पं यथाविधि । शक्यः प्राप्तुमयं यज्ञः सर्वेणापि महीक्षिता । नापराधो भवेत् कष्टो यद्यस्मिन् क्रतुसत्तमे ॥ १-८-१६
"Let peace invocations be prevailing and prospering, as ordained in the scriptures and tradition .if it is possible for the correct performance to obtain results of this ritual, and if it is possible to conduct this ritual without any difficult faults during its performance, then all the kings on earth would have performed it . ॥ 1-8-16॥
english translation
zAntayazcApi vardhantAM yathAkalpaM yathAvidhi । zakyaH prAptumayaM yajJaH sarveNApi mahIkSitA । nAparAdho bhavet kaSTo yadyasmin kratusattame ॥ 1-8-16
hk transliteration by Sanscriptछिद्रं हि मृगयन्तेऽत्र विद्वांसो ब्रह्मराक्षसाः । विधिहीनस्य यज्ञस्य सद्यः कर्ता विनश्यति ॥ १-८-१७
Scholarly Brahma-demons will be hunting for the faults alone in the course of this ritual . should the procedure of this ritual be depraved of its set rules, the performer gets ruined . ॥ 1-8-17॥
english translation
chidraM hi mRgayante'tra vidvAMso brahmarAkSasAH । vidhihInasya yajJasya sadyaH kartA vinazyati ॥ 1-8-17
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद्यथा विधिपूर्वं मे क्रतुरेष समाप्यते । तथा विधानं क्रियतां समर्थाः साधनेष्विति ॥ १-८-१८
Therefore let the arrangements be made in a manner this sacifice is completed in accordance with the scriptures. And in this, you are experts". ॥ 1-8-18॥
english translation
tadyathA vidhipUrvaM me kratureSa samApyate । tathA vidhAnaM kriyatAM samarthAH sAdhaneSviti ॥ 1-8-18
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथेति चाब्रुवन्सर्वे मंत्रिणः प्रतिपूजिता । पार्थिवेन्द्रस्य तद्वाक्यं यथापूर्वं निशम्य ते ॥ १-८-१९
Having heard these words of this Indra on earth (king Dasaratha) all the ministers with due respect replied: "May it be as ordered". ॥ 1-8-19॥

tatheti cAbruvansarve maMtriNaH pratipUjitA । pArthivendrasya tadvAkyaM yathApUrvaM nizamya te ॥ 1-8-19
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथा द्विजास्ते धर्मज्ञा वर्धयन्तो नृपोत्तमम् । अनुज्ञातास्ततः सर्वे पुनर्जग्मुर्यथागतम् ॥ १-८-२०
Bowing to this best of kings (Dasaratha), all the brahmins who were experts in austerities left all the knowledgeable brahmins as they camewith his permission. ॥ 1-8-20॥

tathA dvijAste dharmajJA vardhayanto nRpottamam । anujJAtAstataH sarve punarjagmuryathAgatam ॥ 1-8-20
