याचितौ प्रशमं तत्र जग्मतुस्तौ सुरोत्तमौ । जृम्भितं तद्धनुर्दृष्ट्वा शैवं विष्णुपराक्रमैः ॥ १-७५-१९

sanskrit

- there and beseeched both of them, the preeminent among the gods ( Shiva and Vishnu ) to keep peace. Now that the bow of Shiva was made inert by the prowess of Vishnu - ॥ 1-75-19॥

english translation

yAcitau prazamaM tatra jagmatustau surottamau । jRmbhitaM taddhanurdRSTvA zaivaM viSNuparAkramaiH ॥ 1-75-19
