- there was a baby girl, since she was gained while consecrating the ritual-field, she was named as Seeta and thus she was renowned. She surfaced from the surface of the earth, but fostered as my own soul-born girl. [1-66-14]

kSetraM zodhayatA labdhA nAmnA sIteti vizrutA | bhUtalAdutthitA sA tu vyavardhata mamAtmajA || 1-66-14
