ततः प्रीतः सहस्राक्षो रहस्यस्तुतितोषितः । दीर्घमायुस्तदा प्रादाच्छुनःशेपाय राघव ॥ १-६२-२६
Then the Thousand-eyed Indra who was satisfied with esoteric laudation, gladdened and oh ! Raghava, then he bestowed longevity to Shunashepa. ॥ 1-62-26॥
english translation
tataH prItaH sahasrAkSo rahasyastutitoSitaH । dIrghamAyustadA prAdAcchunaHzepAya rAghava ॥ 1-62-26
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस च राजा नरश्रेष्ठ यज्ञस्य च समाप्तवान् । फलं बहुगुणं राम सहस्राक्षप्रसादजम् ॥ १-६२-२७
Oh ! Rama, the best one among men, he ( king Ambariisha ) also obtained the fruits of that Vedic-ritual in manyfold, resulted from the grace of Thousand-eyed Indra. ॥ 1-62-27॥
english translation
sa ca rAjA narazreSTha yajJasya ca samAptavAn । phalaM bahuguNaM rAma sahasrAkSaprasAdajam ॥ 1-62-27
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविश्वामित्रोऽपि धर्मात्मा भूयस्तेपे महातपाः । पुष्करेषु नरश्रेष्ठ दशवर्षशतानि च ॥ १-६२-२८
Oh ! Best among men ( Rama ), the righteous and mighty ascetic Vishvaamitra also continued his austerities at Pushkara for a thousand years. ॥ 1-62-28॥

vizvAmitro'pi dharmAtmA bhUyastepe mahAtapAH । puSkareSu narazreSTha dazavarSazatAni ca ॥ 1-62-28
