सृजन् दक्षिणमार्गस्थान् सप्तर्षीनपरान् पुनः । नक्षत्रमालामपरामसृजत् क्रोधमूर्च्छितः ॥ १-६०-२१
- who conjured up a constellation of seven new rishis (stars) stationed in the southern quarter. Overcome by anger he further a new group of stars sequentially. ॥ 1-60-21॥
english translation
sRjan dakSiNamArgasthAn saptarSInaparAn punaH । nakSatramAlAmaparAmasRjat krodhamUrcchitaH ॥ 1-60-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदक्षिणां दिशमास्थाय मुनिमध्ये महायशाः । सृष्ट्वा नक्षत्रवंशं च क्रोधेन कलुषीकृतः ॥ १-६०-२२
Having created a constellation of stars in the southern direction amidst of sages, the illustrious sage ( Vishvaamitra ) out of anger said - ॥ 1-60-22॥

dakSiNAM dizamAsthAya munimadhye mahAyazAH । sRSTvA nakSatravaMzaM ca krodhena kaluSIkRtaH ॥ 1-60-22
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्यमिन्द्रं करिष्यामि लोको वा स्यादनिंद्रकः । दैवतान्यपि स क्रोधात् स्रष्टुं समुपचक्रमे ॥ १-६०-२३
- 'I will now create an alternative Indra, or let that realm created by me remain without any Indra,' and commenced to create even gods. ॥ 1-60-23॥
english translation
anyamindraM kariSyAmi loko vA syAdaniMdrakaH । daivatAnyapi sa krodhAt sraSTuM samupacakrame ॥ 1-60-23
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः परमसंभ्रान्ताः सर्षिसंघाः सुरासुराः । विश्वामित्रं महात्मानमूचुः सानुनयं वचः ॥ १-६०-२४
Thereafter, struck with extreme wonder and fear, hosts of rishis, suras and asuras humbly addressed the great-souled Vishvaamitra. ॥ 1-60-24॥

tataH paramasaMbhrAntAH sarSisaMghAH surAsurAH । vizvAmitraM mahAtmAnamUcuH sAnunayaM vacaH ॥ 1-60-24
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअयं राजा महाभाग गुरुशापपरिक्षतः । सशरीरो दिवं यातुं नार्हत्येव तपोधन ॥ १-६०-२५
- 'Oh great-fortunate Vishvamitra, this king Trishnaku is damned by his mentor, hence oh ! ascetically wealthy sage, he is not at all eligible to go to heaven with his mortal body.' ॥ 1-60-25॥

ayaM rAjA mahAbhAga guruzApaparikSataH । sazarIro divaM yAtuM nArhatyeva tapodhana ॥ 1-60-25
