- welcomed all the gods to receive their allotted oblations in that ritual. When, the gods invited by him did not come to receive their share of offerings - ॥ 1-60-11॥

ततः कोपसमाविष्टो विश्वमित्रो महामुनिः । स्रुवमुद्यम्य सक्रोधस्त्रिशंकुमिदमब्रवीत् ॥ १-६०-१२

- the great ascetic Viswamitra seized with anger lifted the sacrificial ladle and said to Trisanku ॥ 1-60-12॥

tataH kopasamAviSTo vizvamitro mahAmuniH । sruvamudyamya sakrodhastrizaMkumidamabravIt ॥ 1-60-12

पश्य मे तपसो वीर्यं स्वार्जितस्य नरेश्वर । एष त्वां स्वशरीरेण नयामि स्वर्गमोजसा ॥ १-६०-१३

'Oh ! King behold the prowess of my selfearned asceticism. With my spiritual might, I shall send you to heaven with your physical body. ॥ 1-60-13॥

pazya me tapaso vIryaM svArjitasya narezvara । eSa tvAM svazarIreNa nayAmi svargamojasA ॥ 1-60-13

दुष्प्रापं स्वशरीरेण दिवं गच्छ नराधिप । स्वार्जितं किंचिदप्यस्ति मया हि तपसः फलम् ॥ १-६०-१४

- Oh ! King go to heaven with physical body which is not possible for anybody to accomplish. By the power of what little fruit of austerities I have earned - ॥ 1-60-14॥

duSprApaM svazarIreNa divaM gaccha narAdhipa । svArjitaM kiMcidapyasti mayA hi tapasaH phalam ॥ 1-60-14

राजन् त्वं तेजसा तस्य सशरीरो दिवं व्रज । उक्तवाक्ये मुनौ तस्मिन् सशरीरो नरेश्वरः ॥ १-६०-१५

- Oh ! king, you will journey to heaven with your own body owing to that prowess of my ascesis.' When the sage had said these words, the king with his physical body - ॥ 1-60-15॥

rAjan tvaM tejasA tasya sazarIro divaM vraja । uktavAkye munau tasmin sazarIro narezvaraH ॥ 1-60-15
