नानास्वादुरसानां च खाण्डवानां [षाडवानां] तथैव च । भाजनानि [भोजनानि] सुपूर्णानि गौडानि च सहस्रशः ॥ १-५३-४

Thousands of silver dishes and hollowware fully replete with daintily soft drinks, like that full with sugar-candy preparations, and with preparations that comprise all the six tastes had come up together with delectable foodstuffs made out of treacly dumplings of cane sugar. ॥ 1-53-4॥

nAnAsvAdurasAnAM ca khANDavAnAM [SADavAnAM] tathaiva ca । bhAjanAni [bhojanAni] supUrNAni gauDAni ca sahasrazaH ॥ 1-53-4
