दिलीपस्तु महातेजा यज्ञैर्बहुभिरिष्टवान् । त्रिंशद्वर्षसहस्राणि राजा राज्यमकारयत् ॥ १-४२-८

The great-resplendent king Dileepa on his part performed numerous Vedic-rituals, and he ruled the kingdom for thirty thousand years ( - to the delight of each of his subjects, but could not find a way to fetch Ganga ). ॥ 1-42-8॥

dilIpastu mahAtejA yajJairbahubhiriSTavAn । triMzadvarSasahasrANi rAjA rAjyamakArayat ॥ 1-42-8
