शूलैरशनिकल्पैश्च हलैश्चापि सुदारुणैः । भिद्यमाना वसुमती ननाद रघुनंदन ॥१-३९-१९

Oh ! Son of the Raghus (Rama), Mother Earth bewailed while she was ruptured with spears also that are similar to thunderbolts, besides with very gruelling ploughs. ॥ 1-39-19॥
