एका जनयिता तात पुत्रं वंशकरं तव । षष्टिं पुत्रसहस्राणि ह्यपरा जनयिष्यति ॥ १-३८-८
Oh ! child, one wife will beget a son who will perpetuate your race and the other, sixty thousand sons, said Bhrugu. ॥ 1-38-8॥

ekA janayitA tAta putraM vaMzakaraM tava । SaSTiM putrasahasrANi hyaparA janayiSyati ॥ 1-38-8
