देव देव महादेव लोकस्यास्य हिते रत | सुराणां प्रणिपातेन प्रसादं कर्तुमर्हसि || १-३६-९

- 'oh, God of Gods, oh, one who is interested in the welfare of these worlds, oh, Great-God, considering the supplication of all gods it will be apt of you to bestow grace.' [1-36-9]

deva deva mahAdeva lokasyAsya hite rata | surANAM praNipAtena prasAdaM kartumarhasi || 1-36-9
