देव देव महादेव लोकस्यास्य हिते रत । सुराणां प्रणिपातेन प्रसादं कर्तुमर्हसि ॥ १-३६-९

- 'oh, God of Gods, oh, one who is interested in the welfare of these worlds, oh, Great-God, considering the supplication of all gods it will be apt of you to bestow grace.' ॥ 1-36-9॥

english translation

deva deva mahAdeva lokasyAsya hite rata । surANAM praNipAtena prasAdaM kartumarhasi ॥ 1-36-9
