Ramayana
न चापि तनयो राम तस्यामासीत्परंतप । सर्वे देवाः समुद्युक्ताः पितामहपुरोगमाः ॥ १-३६-७
- but Oh ! Rama, tormentor of enemies, no son was born to them ( in the womb of goddess Parvati). All the gods headed by Brahma have then started to ponder - ॥ 1-36-7॥
english translation
na cApi tanayo rAma tasyAmAsItparaMtapa । sarve devAH samudyuktAH pitAmahapurogamAH ॥ 1-36-7
