निष्पन्दास्तरवः सर्वे निलीना मृगपक्षिणः । नैशेन तमसा व्याप्ता दिशश्च रघुनंदन ॥ १-३४-१५

Oh ! son of the Raghus' the trees stand motionless, with the beasts and birds calm, all directions are pervaded with darkness. ॥ 1-34-15॥

english translation

niSpandAstaravaH sarve nilInA mRgapakSiNaH । naizena tamasA vyAptA dizazca raghunaMdana ॥ 1-34-15
