तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा वायोरक्लिष्टकर्मणः । अपहास्य ततो वाक्यं कन्याशतमथाब्रवीत् ॥ १-३२-१८

On hearing that proposal of Vayu, the Air-god whose strives were unimpeded, then those hundred girls spoke this sentence laughing off his proposal. ॥ 1-32-18॥
