भगवन् श्रोतुमिच्छावो यस्मिन्काले निशाचरौ । संरक्षणीयौ तौ ब्रूहि नातिवर्तेत तत्क्षणम् ॥ १-३०-२

sanskrit

"Oh ! god, we are interested to listen at which time those night-walkers ( rakshasas ) will come to disturb the ritual, and at which time we have to safeguard the ritual from them, that you tell us, let not that moment pass away." ॥ 1-30-2॥

english translation

bhagavan zrotumicchAvo yasminkAle nizAcarau । saMrakSaNIyau tau brUhi nAtivarteta tatkSaNam ॥ 1-30-2
