वज्रमस्त्रं नरश्रेष्ठ शैवं शूलवरं तथा । अस्त्रं ब्रह्मशिरश्चैव ऐषीकमपि राघव ॥ १-२७-६
- and vajraastra ( Thunderbolt missile ); the best trident pertaining to Shiva; the missile called Brahmashiraastra ॥ Brahma-crest॥; the missile called the Aishiika astra ॥ Grass-Blade missile,॥ and . - ॥ 1-27-6॥

vajramastraM narazreSTha zaivaM zUlavaraM tathA । astraM brahmazirazcaiva aiSIkamapi rAghava ॥ 1-27-6
hk transliteration by Sanscriptददामि ते महाबाहो ब्राह्ममस्त्रमनुत्तमम् । गदे द्वे चैव काकुत्स्थ मोदकी शिखरी शुभे ॥ १-२७-७
- that way oh ! Raghava, I am going to give the unexcelled and highly formidable missile called brahmaastra( Brahma missile ). The two maces that are brilliant by their radiance called, the Modaki, ( the Beater ) and Shikhari, ( the Tower of Protection ), Born in the race of kakutstha . - ॥ 1-27-7॥

dadAmi te mahAbAho brAhmamastramanuttamam । gade dve caiva kAkutstha modakI zikharI zubhe ॥ 1-27-7
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रदीप्ते नरशार्दूल प्रयच्छामि नृपात्मज । धर्मपाशमहं राम कालपाशं तथैव च ॥ १-२७-८
- and a tiger among men, Oh ! Rama, I am going to accord that to you. Oh ! Rama, Dharma paasha ( Virtue noose ), kaala-paasha ( Time noose ) and . - ॥ 1-27-8॥

pradIpte narazArdUla prayacchAmi nRpAtmaja । dharmapAzamahaM rAma kAlapAzaM tathaiva ca ॥ 1-27-8
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवारुणं पाशमस्त्रं च ददाम्यहमनुत्तमम् । अशनी द्वे प्रयच्छामि शुष्कार्द्रे रघुनन्दन ॥ १-२७-९
- and Varuna paasha ( Rain god's noose ) are unequalled missile. I will give you that. Oh, Raghu's scion, I will also give two projectile bolts, one called shushka ( The Drier ) and the other aardra (The Drencher ) . - ॥ 1-27-9॥

vAruNaM pAzamastraM ca dadAmyahamanuttamam । azanI dve prayacchAmi zuSkArdre raghunandana ॥ 1-27-9
hk transliteration by Sanscriptददामि चास्त्रं पैनाकमस्त्रं नारायणं तथा । आग्नेयमस्त्रं दयितं शिखरं नाम नामतः ॥ १-२७-१०
- and even the Pinaakaastra and Narayanaastra , ( the missiles of god Shiva and Narayana ) I will give. Agneyaastra known as sikhara which is favourite of Fire-God . - ॥ 1-27-10॥

dadAmi cAstraM painAkamastraM nArAyaNaM tathA । AgneyamastraM dayitaM zikharaM nAma nAmataH ॥ 1-27-10
