एवमुक्तो नरपतिर्ब्राह्मणैर्वेदपारगैः । गवां शतसहस्राणि दश तेभ्यो ददौ नृपः ॥ १-१४-५०
The king Dasharatha, the lord of people, thus requested by the scholarly Vedic Brahmans gave them millions of cows - ॥ 1-14-50॥
