पञ्चाशदेवं तु सह भवन्ति क्षयमागतैः । क्षीणमध्याधिकक्षीणक्षीणवृद्धैस्तथाऽपरैः ॥११॥
Fifty combinations arise from the doshas when they are in a state of depletion, and combinations also arise from the weakened, diminished, or aggravated doshas, as well as from those doshas that have decreased or increased in different ways.

जब दोष क्षीणता की स्थिति में होते हैं, तो उनसे पचास संयोजन उत्पन्न होते हैं, तथा कमजोर, कम हुए या बढ़े हुए दोषों के साथ-साथ उन दोषों से भी संयोजन उत्पन्न होते हैं जो विभिन्न तरीकों से कम या अधिक हो गए हैं।

Twelve such combinations are known, where the three doshas combine in sixty-two ways, and the doshas, mixed with the impurities of the tissues, become innumerable and beyond count.

ऐसे बारह संयोजन ज्ञात हैं, जहां तीनों दोष बासठ तरीकों से संयोजित होते हैं, और ऊतकों की अशुद्धियों के साथ मिश्रित दोष असंख्य और गिनती से परे हो जाते हैं।

Therefore, controlling the discussion and distinguishing between the types of doshas, one should treat the disease by understanding it and using the appropriate varieties of rasas as described.

इसलिए, चर्चा को नियंत्रित करते हुए और दोषों के प्रकारों में अंतर करते हुए, रोग को समझकर तथा वर्णित रसों की उपयुक्त किस्मों का उपयोग करके उसका उपचार करना चाहिए।

The physician is the doer, and the means are the rasas; the doshas are the causes. The goal is health, not disease, hence the treatment should be aimed at restoring health.

चिकित्सक कर्ता है, साधन रस हैं; दोष कारण हैं। लक्ष्य स्वास्थ्य है, बीमारी नहीं, इसलिए उपचार का उद्देश्य स्वास्थ्य को बहाल करना होना चाहिए।
