तत्रैवोपहरेच्चापि नागाय विविधं बलिम् । चतुष्पथे राक्षसस्य भीमेषु गहनेषु वा ॥३६॥
There, he should also offer diverse offerings to Nāga (serpentine spirits). On crossroads, or in the terrifying dense forests, he should offer to the Rakṣasa (demons).

वहाँ उसे नागों को भी विविध प्रकार के प्रसाद अर्पित करने चाहिए। चौराहे पर या भयानक घने जंगलों में उसे राक्षसों को भी प्रसाद अर्पित करना चाहिए।

In a deserted house, one should offer a strong sacrifice to the Piśāca (evil spirits). This should be done with the mantras previously practiced, as instructed in the science of Bhūtavidyā.

किसी सुनसान घर में पिशाच (बुरी आत्माओं) के लिए एक मजबूत बलि देनी चाहिए। यह भूतविद्या के अनुसार पहले से अभ्यास किए गए मंत्रों के साथ किया जाना चाहिए।

It is not possible to defeat these spirits through sacrifices alone; one must employ proper techniques and practices. The use of the skin of a gazelle, the hairs of a boar, and the bones of owls and similar creatures should be included in these rituals.
