विच्छिन्नमध्यं पिशितावृतं वा चलं सिरासक्तमदृष्टिकृच्च | द्वित्वग्गतं लोहितमन्ततश्च चिरोत्थितं चापि विवर्जनीयम् ||६||

A condition where the film or speck is severed in the middle, covered with pus, movable, and associated with veins, should be considered incurable. Similarly, if the condition involves a reddish tint at the extremities, has been present for a long time, or is obstructing vision, it is also to be avoided as a treatable condition.

ऐसी स्थिति जिसमें फिल्म या धब्बा बीच से कटा हुआ हो, मवाद से ढका हो, हिलता हो और नसों से जुड़ा हो, उसे लाइलाज माना जाना चाहिए। इसी तरह, अगर स्थिति में हाथ-पैरों पर लाल रंग का निशान हो, लंबे समय से मौजूद हो या दृष्टि में बाधा उत्पन्न कर रहा हो, तो इसे भी उपचार योग्य स्थिति मानकर टाला जाना चाहिए।

उष्णाश्रुपातः पिडका च कृष्णे यस्मिन् भवेन्मुद्गनिभं च शुक्रम् | तदप्यसाध्यं प्रवदन्ति केचिदन्यच्च यत्तित्तिरिपक्षतुल्यम् ||७||

In cases where there is a hot discharge of tears and pustular growths in the black part of the eye (Krishna-mandala), and a film resembling the speck of a lentil appears, some authorities consider this condition incurable. Additionally, if the film takes on the color of the feathers of a Tittira bird, it is also regarded as incurable.

ऐसे मामलों में जहां आंखों के काले हिस्से (कृष्ण-मंडल) में गर्म आंसू निकलते हैं और फुंसी जैसी वृद्धि होती है, और दाल के दाने जैसी परत दिखाई देती है, कुछ विशेषज्ञ इस स्थिति को लाइलाज मानते हैं। इसके अलावा, अगर परत टिटिरा पक्षी के पंखों के रंग की हो जाए, तो इसे भी लाइलाज माना जाता है।

सितं यदा भात्यसितप्रदेशे स्यन्दात्मकं नातिरुगश्रुयुक्तम् | विहायसीवाच्छघनानुकारि तदव्रणं साध्यतमं वदन्ति ||८||

When a whitish film appears on the black part of the eye (Krishna-mandala), resembling a transparent cloud, and is not associated with intense pain or excessive discharge, it is considered Avrana-Shukra. If the film is thin and gradually covers the eye, some consider this condition to be the most treatable.

जब आँख के काले भाग (कृष्ण-मंडल) पर एक सफ़ेद परत दिखाई देती है, जो पारदर्शी बादल जैसी दिखती है, और तीव्र दर्द या अत्यधिक स्राव से जुड़ी नहीं होती है, तो इसे अवरण-शुक्र माना जाता है। यदि परत पतली है और धीरे-धीरे आँख को ढकती है, तो कुछ लोग इस स्थिति को सबसे अधिक उपचार योग्य मानते हैं।

गम्भीरजातं बहलं च शुक्रं चिरोत्थितं चापि वदन्ति कृच्छ्रम् | सञ्च्छाद्यते श्वेतनिभेन सर्वं दोषेण यस्यासितमण्डलं तु ||९||

A thick and deep-seated whitish film, which has been present for a long time, is considered very difficult to treat. If this film gradually covers the entire black part of the eye (Krishna-mandala) and is accompanied by the deranged Doshas, it is regarded as a challenging and severe condition.

एक मोटी और गहरी सफ़ेद परत जो लंबे समय से मौजूद है, उसका इलाज करना बहुत मुश्किल माना जाता है। अगर यह परत धीरे-धीरे आँख के पूरे काले हिस्से (कृष्ण-मंडल) को ढक लेती है और साथ में विकृत दोष भी होते हैं, तो इसे एक चुनौतीपूर्ण और गंभीर स्थिति माना जाता है।

तमक्षिपाकात्ययमक्षिकोपसमुत्थितं तीव्ररुजं वदन्ति | अजापुरीषप्रतिमो रुजावान् सलोहितो लोहितपिच्छिलाश्रुः | विदार्य कृष्णं प्रचयोऽभ्युपैति तं चाजकाजातमिति व्यवस्येत् ||१०||

The disease that arises from an attack of Akshi-Pakatyaya and Akshi-Kopa (eye inflammation) is described as being marked by severe pain. It resembles the pain caused by the excretion of goat-like excrement and is accompanied by red, thick, and slimy tears. This condition leads to the destruction of the black part (Krishna-mandala) of the eye, causing a proliferation that ultimately results in the condition known as Ajaka. It is diagnosed when the eye experiences deep degeneration and loss of vision.

अक्षि-पकात्या और अक्षि-कोप (आंख की सूजन) के हमले से उत्पन्न होने वाली बीमारी को गंभीर दर्द के रूप में वर्णित किया गया है। यह बकरी के मल के उत्सर्जन के कारण होने वाले दर्द जैसा होता है और इसके साथ लाल, मोटे और चिपचिपे आंसू निकलते हैं। यह स्थिति आंख के काले हिस्से (कृष्ण-मंडल) के विनाश की ओर ले जाती है, जिससे प्रसार होता है जो अंततः अजाक नामक स्थिति का परिणाम होता है। इसका निदान तब किया जाता है जब आंख में गहरा क्षरण और दृष्टि की हानि होती है।
