सञ्ज्ञावहासु नाडीषु पिहितास्वनिलादिभिः । तमोऽभ्युपैति सहसा सुखदुःखव्यपोहकृत् ॥६॥

When the sense-carrying nerves are obstructed by deranged Vayu (wind) and other doshas, a sudden onset of Tamas (insensibility) occurs, causing the suspension of the perception of pleasure and pain.

जब इंद्रिय-वाहक तंत्रिकाएं विकृत वायु और अन्य दोषों के कारण अवरुद्ध हो जाती हैं, तो अचानक तमस (असंवेदनशीलता) की शुरुआत होती है, जिसके कारण सुख और दुख की अनुभूति स्थगित हो जाती है।

सुखदुःखव्यपोहाच्च नरः पतति काष्ठवत् । मोहो मूर्च्छेति तां प्राहुः--- । --- षड्विधा सा प्रकीर्तिता ॥७॥

Due to the suspension of the perception of pleasure and pain, the person falls down like a piece of wood. This condition is called Moha (unconsciousness) or Murccha (fainting), and it is said to be of six kinds.

अपस्मारोक्तलिङ्गानि तासामुक्तानि तत्त्वतः । पृथिव्यम्भस्तमोरूपं रक्तगन्धश्च तन्मयः ॥९॥

The signs of unconsciousness (Apasmara) are described as those related to the earth element, water, and Tamas (insensibility). These symptoms include a reddish color and the smell of blood, and the person becomes engrossed in these characteristics.
