रक्तातिसारप्रोक्तांश्च योगानत्रापि योजयेत् | शुद्धेक्षुकाण्डमापोथ्य नवे कुम्भे हिमाम्भसा ||२१||

The physician should also employ the yogas (medicinal preparations) mentioned for treating blood-dysentery (Rakta-atisara). These should be combined with the fresh sugarcane root and the water of new clay pitchers, which have been cooled with ice or cold water. This combination helps in controlling the excessive bleeding and alleviating the symptoms of Rakta-pitta.

योजायित्वा क्षिपेद्रात्रावाकाशे सोत्पलं तु तत् | प्रातः स्रुतं क्षौद्रयुतं पिबेच्छोणितपित्तवान् ||२२||

The mixture should be prepared and kept overnight in an open space. In the morning, it should be strained and consumed, mixed with honey. This preparation is beneficial for those suffering from Rakta-pitta (hemorrhage or blood disorders).

The patient should drink either a decoction of the coconut or a mixture made from the juice of Jambu, Amra, or Arjuna. Alternatively, the juice of Udumbara fruit should be consumed after it has been crushed.

The patient should drink a paste of Trapushi root mixed with honey and rice-water, or a paste made from Aksasa (a type of herb) mixed with honey, or a paste of Yastimadhu (Licorice) with the same ingredients.
