घृतं कषायांश्चोद्दिष्टान् पित्तज्वरविनाशनान् । तृप्तस्य च रसैर्मुख्यैर्मधुरैः सघृतैर्भिषक् ॥१६॥
The physician should administer clarified butter and decoctions that have been prescribed, which are known to eliminate Pitta-fever. These should be given along with sweet and clarified preparations to satisfy the patient’s appetite, enhancing the healing process.

The physician should administer an enema containing clarified butter mixed with honey, along with a decoction of Vacha and Nimba, to induce vomiting. This treatment is particularly effective when the disease is associated with Kaphaja disturbances in the heart.

The physician skilled in administering enemas should apply ghee mixed with the paste of Shyama, Trivrut, or use a purgative, and also administer a medicated enema using potent oils.
