वातोपसृष्टे हृदये वामयेत् स्निग्धमातुरम् । द्विपञ्चमूलक्वाथेन सस्नेहलवणेन तु ॥११॥
When Vata (air element) afflicts the heart, the patient should be treated with a snigdha (unctuous) remedy. A decoction made from the roots of two or five plants, combined with oily salt, should be administered to the patient.

जब हृदय में वात (वायु तत्व) की समस्या हो तो रोगी को स्निग्ध औषधि से उपचार करना चाहिए। दो या पांच पौधों की जड़ों का काढ़ा बनाकर उसमें तेलयुक्त नमक मिलाकर रोगी को पिलाना चाहिए।

A powdered mixture consisting of Pippali (long pepper), Ela (cardamom), Hingu (asafoetida), Yava-bhasma (barley ash), Saindhava (rock salt), Sauvarchala (salt from the ocean), Shunthi (dried ginger), and Ajamoda (Ajowan) should be prepared. This mixture should be administered for the treatment of heart diseases.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptफलधान्याम्लकौलत्थदधिमद्यासवादिभिः । पाययेत विशुद्धं च स्नेहेनान्यतमेन वा ॥१३॥
The patient should be given a purified drink made from fruit, grains, sour substances, Kulattha (horsegram), curd, and similar taste-inducing items. This should be taken along with any one of the medicinal oils or fats, depending on the case.

रोगी को फल, अनाज, खट्टे पदार्थ, कुलत्थ (घोड़े का चना), दही और इसी तरह के स्वाद बढ़ाने वाले पदार्थों से बना शुद्ध पेय दिया जाना चाहिए। इसे मामले के अनुसार किसी भी औषधीय तेल या वसा के साथ लिया जाना चाहिए।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptभोजयेज्जीर्णशाल्यन्नं जाङ्गलैः सघृतै रसैः । वातघ्नसिद्धं तैलं च दद्याद्बस्तिं प्रमाणतः ॥१४॥
The patient should be fed well-cooked Shali rice mixed with meat from animals of the Jangala region, along with clarified butter and medicinal sauces. He should then be given a Vasti (enema) in appropriate quantity, using oil that has been properly prepared with Vata-subduing herbs.

रोगी को जंगल क्षेत्र के पशुओं के मांस के साथ अच्छी तरह पका हुआ शालि चावल, घी और औषधीय चटनी खिलानी चाहिए। फिर उसे उचित मात्रा में वात-निरोधक जड़ी-बूटियों से तैयार तेल का उपयोग करके वस्ति (एनीमा) देना चाहिए।

In cases of Pitta-dominant heart disease, the patient should be treated with a decoction made from Shri-parni, Madhuka, and Kachora, along with the juice of Utpala (blue lotus), which should be taken in the form of a sweetened drink.
