आयम्यते मारुतजे हृदयं तुद्यते तथा । निर्मथ्यते दीर्यते च स्फोट्यते पाट्यतेऽपि च ॥६॥

In the Vataja type of heart disease, the heart becomes stretched, struck, churned, distended, and even ruptured or cracked due to the influence of the deranged Vayu (wind element). These are the characteristic symptoms.

In the Pittaja type of heart disease, the patient experiences symptoms such as thirst, burning sensation, and dryness. There is a feeling of fatigue in the heart, along with symptoms like vomiting, dizziness, sweating, and dryness of the mouth.

Additionally, there is a drying or wasting condition in the body.
