असंवृतगुदं क्षीणं दुराध्मातमुपद्रुतम् । गुदे पक्वे गतोष्माणमतीसारकिणं त्यजेत् ॥२१॥
The condition is characterized by an open or uncovered anus, with depletion and a foul odor, which is aggravated. In such cases, when the stool has become hardened and the body heat has increased, it is advised to abandon the treatment for Atisara (diarrhea).
