सुतप्तकुप्यक्वथितेन वाऽपि क्षीरेण शीतेन मधुप्लुतेन । शूलार्दितो व्योषविदारिगन्धासिद्धेन दुग्धेन हिताय भोज्यः ॥१४६॥

A person suffering from pain should consume food that is prepared with warm decoction, or with cold milk, or with honey. It should be mixed with the milk of Vyosha, Vidari, and Ganda, which are beneficial for soothing pain.

दर्द से पीड़ित व्यक्ति को गर्म काढ़ा, ठंडे दूध या शहद के साथ तैयार भोजन का सेवन करना चाहिए। इसमें व्योषा, विदारी और गण्ड का दूध मिलाकर सेवन करना चाहिए, ये दर्द को शांत करने में लाभकारी हैं।

वातघ्नसाङ्ग्राहिकदीपनीयैः कृतान् षडांश्चाप्युपभोजयेच्च । खादेच्च मत्स्यान् रसमाप्नुयाच्च वातघ्नसिद्धं सघृतं सतैलम् ॥१४७॥

One should consume food prepared with vata-subduing digestive enhancers, and also six other substances. Eating fish and drinking the juice mixed with vata-reducing oil and ghee helps in balancing vata.

एणाव्यजानां तु वटप्रवालैः सिद्धानि सार्धं पिशितानि खादेत् । मेध्य(द्य)स्य सिद्धं त्वथ वाऽपि रक्तं बस्तस्य दध्ना घृततैलयुक्तम् ॥१४८॥

One should eat the meat of animals that are medicated with the tender leaves of the banyan tree, prepared with fat. Alternatively, the meat of those who are fit for consumption, or blood, can be mixed with milk, ghee, and oil for therapeutic purposes.

He should eat with pastes or with the leaves of the Shikhali plant, or he should consume soups and excellent curds. He should eat well-cooked Masha beans mixed with ghee and curds, along with a pinch of pepper.

In severe fever and difficulty urinating, the physician should administer an enema with a mixture of milk, honey, and ghee, along with preparations of honey and blue lotus.

तीव्र ज्वर तथा पेशाब करने में कठिनाई होने पर चिकित्सक को दूध, शहद तथा घी के मिश्रण के साथ-साथ शहद और नीले कमल के मिश्रण से एनिमा देना चाहिए।
