विस्तीर्णं मृदु बहलं यकृत्प्रकाशं श्यावं वा तदधिकमांसजार्म विद्यात् । शुक्ले यत् पिशितमुपैति वृद्धिमेतत् स्नाय्वर्मेत्यभिपठितं खरं प्रपाण्डु ॥६॥

A soft, thick, liver-colored or dark brown growth, which gradually increases in size and spreads across the white part of the eye, is known as Adhimansarma. The rough, yellowish growth that slowly enlarges on the white coat of the eye is referred to as Snayvarma.

एक मुलायम, मोटी, यकृत के रंग की या गहरे भूरे रंग की वृद्धि, जो धीरे-धीरे आकार में बढ़ती है और आंख के सफेद हिस्से में फैलती है, उसे अधिमानसर्मा के रूप में जाना जाता है। आंख के सफेद कोट पर धीरे-धीरे बढ़ने वाली खुरदरी, पीली वृद्धि को स्नायवर्मा कहा जाता है।

श्यावाः स्युः पिशितनिभाश्च बिन्दवो ये शुक्त्याभाः सितनयने स शुक्तिसञ्ज्ञः । एको यः शशरुधिरोपमस्तु बिन्दुः शुक्लस्थो भवति तमर्जुनं वदन्ति ॥७॥

The specks that appear on the white part of the eye, resembling the color of oyster shells or dark brown, are called Shuktika. A single dot on the white coat of the eye, resembling the color of a hare’s blood, is called Arjuna.

आंख के सफेद भाग पर सीप के गोले या गहरे भूरे रंग के धब्बे दिखाई देते हैं, जिन्हें शुक्तिका कहते हैं। आंख के सफेद भाग पर खरगोश के खून के रंग जैसा एक बिंदु अर्जुन कहलाता है।

उत्सन्नः सलिलनिभोऽथ पिष्टशुक्लो बिन्दुर्यो भवति स पिष्टकः सुवृत्तः । जालाभः कठिनसिरो महान् सरक्तः सन्तानः स्मृत इह जालसञ्ज्ञितस्तु ॥८॥

A raised, circular speck on the white part of the eye, which is white like pasted rice and translucent, is called Pishtaka. A reddish, web-like network of hardened veins on the white coat of the eye, which is firm and large, is known as Sira-jala.

आँख के सफ़ेद भाग पर उभरा हुआ, गोलाकार धब्बा, जो चावल की तरह सफ़ेद और पारदर्शी होता है, पिष्टक कहलाता है। आँख के सफ़ेद भाग पर लाल रंग का, जाल जैसा सख्त नसों का जाल, जो दृढ़ और बड़ा होता है, सिरा-जाल कहलाता है।

शुक्लस्थाः सितपिडकाः सिरावृता यास्ता विद्यादसितसमीपजाः सिराजाः । कांस्याभो भवति सितेऽम्बुबिन्दुतुल्यः स ज्ञेयोऽमृदुररुजो बलासकाख्यः ॥९॥

The white pustular growths on the white part of the eye, covered with veins, and located near the iris, are called Sira-pidaka. A speck that appears on the white coat of the eye, resembling the color of Indian bell-metal (Kamsya) and surrounded by a vein, is known as Balasa. This condition is mild and painless.

आँख के सफ़ेद भाग पर शिराओं से ढके हुए और परितारिका के पास स्थित सफ़ेद फुंसीदार उभार को सिरा-पीड़ाक कहते हैं। आँख के सफ़ेद भाग पर दिखाई देने वाला एक धब्बा, जो भारतीय बेल-धातु (कामस्य) के रंग जैसा होता है और एक शिरा से घिरा होता है, उसे बलसा कहते हैं। यह स्थिति हल्की और दर्द रहित होती है।
