दोषोऽल्पोऽहितसम्भूतो ज्वरोत्सृष्टस्य वा पुनः । धातुमन्यतमं प्राप्य करोति विषमज्वरम् ॥६६॥
When a small dosha (imbalance) is generated due to improper conditions, it can lead to fever. When it reaches one of the bodily tissues, it causes a condition known as irregular or intermittent fever.

जब अनुचित परिस्थितियों के कारण एक छोटा सा दोष (असंतुलन) उत्पन्न होता है, तो यह बुखार का कारण बन सकता है। जब यह शरीर के किसी ऊतक तक पहुँचता है, तो यह अनियमित या रुक-रुक कर आने वाले बुखार के रूप में जानी जाने वाली स्थिति पैदा करता है।

Continuously residing in the blood and the plasma, and depending on the fat, it reaches the third day, then it moves to the bones and the marrow once again.

रक्त और प्लाज्मा में लगातार रहते हुए, तथा वसा पर निर्भर रहते हुए, यह तीसरे दिन तक पहुंचता है, फिर यह पुनः हड्डियों और मज्जा में चला जाता है।

Some say that it causes a terrifying, destructive disease of mixed origin, which arises from the influence of spirits, known as the fever with a disturbed nature.

The one who experiences continuous fever, whether lasting for a week, ten days, or twelve days, is called a "Santata" (a person with recurring or persistent fever).

जिस व्यक्ति को लगातार बुखार रहता है, चाहे वह बुखार एक सप्ताह, दस दिन या बारह दिन तक रहे, उसे "संतता" (बार-बार या लगातार बुखार रहने वाला व्यक्ति) कहा जाता है।

The one who experiences continuous fever for a full day and night, lasting through two cycles, is called "Satatako." The one who experiences fever for only one cycle of a day and night is called "Anyedyushka."

जिसे एक दिन और रात के दो चक्रों तक लगातार बुखार रहता है, उसे "सताताको" कहते हैं। जिसे एक दिन और रात के केवल एक चक्र तक बुखार रहता है, उसे "अन्येद्युष्का" कहते हैं।
