द्वावेतौ दाहशीतादी ज्वरौ संसर्गजौ स्मृतौ । दाहपूर्वस्तयोः कष्टः कृच्छ्रसाध्यश्च स स्मृतः ॥६१॥
These two types of fever, one with a burning sensation (Daha) and the other with a cooling effect (Sheet), are considered to be caused by an interaction of doshas. The one that begins with burning is said to be more difficult to cure and troublesome.

The person who is affected by trauma or injury, or experiences an altered state of consciousness, will manifest symptoms at six distinct times throughout the day and night, as described in the ancient texts.

प्राचीन ग्रंथों में वर्णित है कि जो व्यक्ति आघात या चोट से प्रभावित होता है, या चेतना की परिवर्तित अवस्था का अनुभव करता है, उसमें दिन और रात में छह अलग-अलग समय पर लक्षण प्रकट होते हैं।

The fever, which is intense and unbearable, afflicts the body in many ways, and it never releases its hold on the body. It is a severe condition that does not ease at any time.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptग्लानिगौरवकार्श्येभ्यः स यस्मान्न प्रमुच्यते । वेगे तु समतिक्रान्ते गतोऽयमिति लक्ष्यते ॥६४॥
The fever, which causes fatigue, heaviness, and emaciation, does not release its hold on the body. However, when the intensity of the fever has passed and the body returns to normal, it can be observed that the person has recovered.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptधात्वन्तरस्थो लीनत्वान्न सौक्ष्म्यादुपलभ्यते । अल्पदोषेन्धनः क्षीणः क्षीणेन्धन इवानलः ॥६५॥
When the impurity is internalized within the tissues, it becomes subtle and cannot be perceived. It is like a fire that, with very little fuel, burns weakly, and when the fuel is almost consumed, the fire diminishes in intensity.
