परो हेतुः स्वभावो वा विषमे कैश्चिदीरितः । आगन्तुश्चानुबन्धो हि प्रायशो विषमज्वरे ॥५६॥
The other causes, whether they are due to nature or external factors, are often described as the reasons for the occurrence of irregular fever. In most cases, they are linked to the irregular or complicated type of fever.

Those who are knowledgeable say that due to the predominance of Vata, the third and fourth types of fever arise. They also state that the cause of a fever induced by alcohol consumption is related to Pitta dosha.

जानकार कहते हैं कि वात की प्रधानता के कारण तीसरे और चौथे प्रकार का बुखार होता है। वे यह भी बताते हैं कि शराब पीने से होने वाले बुखार का कारण पित्त दोष से जुड़ा हुआ है।

The knowledgeable ones say that the fever caused by the application of plasters, and the one arising from the predominance of Vata and Kapha, are associated with the dominance of these doshas. The fevers that follow a state of fainting are usually of a mixed nature, arising from a dual disturbance.

जानकारों का कहना है कि लेप लगाने से होने वाला बुखार और वात-कफ की प्रबलता से होने वाला बुखार, इन दोषों की प्रबलता से जुड़ा हुआ है। बेहोशी की स्थिति के बाद होने वाला बुखार आमतौर पर मिश्रित प्रकृति का होता है, जो दोहरी गड़बड़ी से उत्पन्न होता है।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्वक्स्थौ श्लेष्मानिलौ शीतमादौ जनयतो ज्वरे । तयोः प्रशान्तयोः पित्तमन्ते दाहं करोति च ॥५९॥
Fevers caused by the disturbances of Kapha and Vata in the skin, especially in the beginning stages, give rise to coldness. However, when these doshas calm down, the fever transforms into one of Pitta origin, causing a burning sensation at the end.
