वातातपरजोहीने वेश्मन्युत्तानशायिनः । आधारौ माषचूर्णेन क्लिन्नेन परिमण्डलौ ॥६॥
For a person who is afflicted by wind and bile, and lying in an upright position, The two circles around the eyes should be moistened with a paste of ground black gram.

It should be placed at the tip of the eyelashes, five in number, for a healthy person; six for Kapha, eight for Pitta, and ten for Vata; this is the best approach.
