दश दृष्ट्यामथाष्टौ च वाक्शतानि विभावयेत् । ततश्चापाङ्गतः स्नेहं स्रावयित्वाऽक्षि शोधयेत् ॥१०॥
The ten or eight (types of) eye-diseases should be identified, and then, after administering the oil, it should be applied to the eye to cleanse it by removing the secretion.
