शूलाश्रुरागास्त्वत्यर्थमधोवेधेन पिच्छिलः । शलाकामनु चास्रावस्तत्र पूर्वचिकित्सितम् ॥७६॥
Severe pain, tears, and redness caused by an injury in the lower part of the eye should be treated with a sticky application, and a shalaka (probe) should be used for draining any fluid. This was previously treated as per the prescribed method.

आंख के निचले हिस्से में चोट लगने से होने वाले तेज दर्द, आंसू और लालिमा का इलाज चिपचिपे लेप से करना चाहिए और तरल पदार्थ को बाहर निकालने के लिए शलाका (जांच) का इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए। पहले इसका इलाज निर्धारित विधि के अनुसार किया जाता था।

When there is redness, tearing, pain, and stiffness, along with excessive contraction and discomfort, the beneficial treatments include the use of oily applications and sweating. Additionally, gentle massage is beneficial in such cases.

When the dosha becomes strong and concentrated, it spreads throughout the entire region. Upon reaching this point, it should be expelled through the tip of the shalaka (instrument), as it causes a sensation similar to that of wind, resulting in dizziness.
