शुष्काक्षिपाकाधीमन्थस्यन्दमारुतपर्ययाः । असाध्यो ह्रस्वजाड्यो यो जलस्रावश्च पैत्तिकः ॥३१॥
The disorders caused by dryness in the eyes, such as those leading to inflammation, burning, or discomfort due to an imbalance in the air (Vata) and related symptoms, are difficult to cure. Similarly, conditions like shortness of vision, excessive tearing, or those caused by the imbalance of bile (Pitta) that lead to watery discharge from the eyes are also considered incurable.

आँखों में सूखेपन के कारण होने वाली बीमारियाँ, जैसे कि वायु (वात) में असंतुलन और उससे जुड़े लक्षणों के कारण सूजन, जलन या बेचैनी होना, ठीक करना मुश्किल है। इसी तरह, दृष्टि की कमी, अत्यधिक आँसू आना या पित्त (पित्त) के असंतुलन के कारण आँखों से पानी निकलने जैसी स्थितियाँ भी लाइलाज मानी जाती हैं।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरिम्लायी च नीलश्च याप्यः काचोऽथ तन्मयः । अभिष्यन्दोऽधिमन्थोऽम्लाध्युषितं शुक्तिका च या ॥३२॥
The disorders related to the eyes, which are characterized by a loss of luster (dullness) or a bluish hue, are treatable. Similarly, conditions caused by excessive watering, inflammation, sourness, or the presence of discharge (like pus) are considered treatable as well.

The vision that is affected by the burning of Pitta and is associated with seeing smoke can be cured. However, a disorder caused by Kapha, characterized by discharge, is considered incurable. Similarly, the conditions caused by a Kacha (a type of disorder) are treatable.

The condition of the eye caused by excessive discharge (Abhishanda), heavy pressure (Adhimanta), and forceful tension (Balasagrathita) leads to a vision that is affected by the deranged action of Kapha. This results in blurred vision, an inability to focus, and an improper alignment (Lagan).

The eye conditions caused by vermin, which cause the channel to be blocked, leading to a discharge of white or sticky mucus (Shuklarma Pistikā), are treatable when they are of a Kapha nature (Shleshmaka). These conditions can be healed through appropriate treatments specific to such disorders.
