पीतप्रायेऽमृते देवैर्भगवान् लोकभावनः । पश्यतामसुरेन्द्राणां स्वं रूपं जगृहे हरिः ।‌। ८-९-२७ ॥

The Supreme Personality of Godhead is the best friend and well-wisher of the three worlds. Thus when the demigods had almost finished drinking the nectar, the Lord, in the presence of all the demons, disclosed His original form. ।‌। 8-9-27 ॥

english translation

भगवान् तीनों लोकों के सर्वश्रेष्ठ मित्र तथा शुभचिन्तक हैं। इस तरह जब देवताओं ने अमृत पीना प्राय: समाप्त किया तब भगवान् ने समस्त असुरों के समक्ष अपना वास्तविक रूप प्रकट कर दिया। ।‌। ८-९-२७ ॥
