तस्या आसनमानिन्ये महेन्द्रो महदद्भुतम् । मूर्तिमत्यः सरिच्छ्रेष्ठा हेमकुम्भैर्जलं शुचि ।‌। ८-८-१० ।।

sanskrit

The King of heaven, Indra, brought a suitable sitting place for the goddess of fortune. All the rivers of sacred water, such as the Ganges and Yamunā, personified themselves, and each of them brought pure water in golden waterpots for mother Lakṣmī, the goddess of fortune. ।‌। 8-8-10 ।।

english translation

स्वर्ग का राजा इन्द्र लक्ष्मीजी के बैठने के लिए उपयुक्त आसन ले आया। पवित्र जल वाली सारी नदियाँ—यथा गंगा तथा यमुना-साकार हो उठीं और उनमें से हर एक माता लक्ष्मी के लिए सुनहरे जलपात्र में शुद्ध जल ले आईं। ।‌। ८-८-१० ।।

tasyA AsanamAninye mahendro mahadadbhutam | mUrtimatyaH saricchreSThA hemakumbhairjalaM zuci |‌| 8-8-10 ||
