Srimad Bhagavatam
तमात्मनोऽनुग्रहार्थं प्रीत्या मत्स्यवपुर्धरम् । अजानन् रक्षणार्थाय शफर्याः स मनो दधे ॥ ८-२४-१५ ॥
To please himself, King Satyavrata, not knowing that the fish was the Supreme Personality of Godhead, decided with great pleasure to give the fish protection. ॥ 8-24-15 ॥
english translation
राजा सत्यव्रत ने यह न जानते हुए कि यह मछली भगवान् है अपनी प्रसन्नता के लिए सहर्ष उस मछली को संरक्षण प्रदान करने का निर्णय लिया। ॥ ८-२४-१५ ॥

tamAtmano'nugrahArthaM prItyA matsyavapurdharam । ajAnan rakSaNArthAya zapharyAH sa mano dadhe ॥ 8-24-15 ॥
