जयन्तः श्रुतदेवश्च पुष्पदन्तोऽथ सात्वतः । सर्वे नागायुतप्राणाश्चमूं ते जघ्नुरासुरीम् ।। ८-२१-१७ ।।

sanskrit

Jayanta, Śrutadeva, Puṣpadanta and Sātvata were all associates of Lord Viṣṇu. They were as powerful as ten thousand elephants, and now they began killing the soldiers of the demons. ।। 8-21-17 ।‌।

english translation

जयन्त, श्रुतदेव, पुष्पदन्त तथा सात्वत—ये सभी भगवान् विष्णु के संगी थे। वे दस हजार हाथियों के तुल्य बलवान् थे। अब वे असुरों के सैनिकों को मारने लगे। ।। ८-२१-१७ ।।
