जयन्तः श्रुतदेवश्च पुष्पदन्तोऽथ सात्वतः । सर्वे नागायुतप्राणाश्चमूं ते जघ्नुरासुरीम् ॥ ८-२१-१७ ॥

Jayanta, Śrutadeva, Puṣpadanta and Sātvata were all associates of Lord Viṣṇu. They were as powerful as ten thousand elephants, and now they began killing the soldiers of the demons. ॥ 8-21-17 ।‌।

english translation

जयन्त, श्रुतदेव, पुष्पदन्त तथा सात्वत—ये सभी भगवान् विष्णु के संगी थे। वे दस हजार हाथियों के तुल्य बलवान् थे। अब वे असुरों के सैनिकों को मारने लगे। ॥ ८-२१-१७ ॥
