यजन्ति यज्ञक्रतुभिर्यमादृता भवन्त आम्नायविधानकोविदाः । स एव विष्णुर्वरदोऽस्तु वा परो दास्याम्यमुष्मै क्षितिमीप्सितां मुने ॥ ८-२०-११ ॥
O great sage, great saintly persons like you, being completely aware of the Vedic principles for performing ritualistic ceremonies and yajñas, worship Lord Viṣṇu in all circumstances. Therefore, whether that same Lord Viṣṇu has come here to give me all benedictions or to punish me as an enemy, I must carry out His order and give Him the requested tract of land without hesitation. ॥ 8-20-11 ॥

हे महामुनि! आप जैसे सन्त महापुरुष जो कर्मकाण्ड तथा यज्ञ सम्पन्न करने के वैदिक सिद्धान्तों से पूर्णतया ज्ञात हैं सभी परिस्थितियों में भगवान् विष्णु की आराधना करते हैं। अतएव वही भगवान् विष्णु यहाँ चाहे मुझे वरदान देने के लिए आये हों या शत्रु के रूप में मुझे दण्ड देने आये हों, मेरा कर्तव्य है कि मैं उनके आदेश का पालन करूँ और बिना हिचक के उनके द्वारा माँगी गई भूमि उन्हें दूँ। ॥ ८-२०-११ ॥
