श‍ृतेन तेन पुरुषं यजेत सुसमाहितः । नैवेद्यं चातिगुणवद्दद्यात्पुरुषतुष्टिदम् ॥ ८-१६-५२ ॥

sanskrit

With great attention, one must prepare an oblation of grains boiled in ghee and milk and must chant the Puruṣa-sūkta mantra. The offerings of food should be of varieties of tastes. In this way, one should worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ॥ 8-16-52 ॥

english translation

मनुष्य को चाहिए कि वह अत्यन्त मनोयोग से घी में पकाये अन्न तथा दूध से आहुति (हव्य) तैयार करे और पुरुष-सूक्त मंत्रोच्चार करे और विविध स्वादों वाले भोजन भेंट करे। इस प्रकार मनुष्य को भगवान् का पूजन करना चाहिए। ॥ ८-१६-५२ ॥
